A group of students from The King’s School were invited to take part in a special event at Wakefield Trinity, where they had an incredible opportunity to meet the Princess of Wales.
The students are part of the Inspiring Futures programme, funded by The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF), which aims to support youths who may be at risk of anti-social behaviour and youth crime.
During the event, students shared their experiences and discussed how the programme had supported them. This provided a valuable opportunity for them to reflect on their learning and represent their school with pride.
The visit highlighted the positive impact of the Inspiring Futures programme and the importance of strong partnerships between schools, community organisations and professional sports clubs.
