Students Meet the Princess of Wales at Wakefield Trinity
A group of students from The King’s School were invited to take part in a special event at Wakefield Trinity, where they had an incredible opportunity to meet the Princess of Wales. The students are part of the Inspiring Futures programme, funded by The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF), which aims to support youths who may be at risk of anti-social behaviour and youth crime. During the event, students shared their experiences and discussed how the programme had supported them. Pontefract Academies Trust Commemorate Remembrance Day
This week, pupils and staff across Pontefract Academies Trust have honoured the annual Remembrance period through a wide range of events and activities, both within and beyond school. Pontefract Remembrance Day Parade On Sunday, representatives from across our schools took part in a parade at Pontefract’s War Memorial. Spencer and Isla, Head Boy and Head Girl from Northfield Primary School, laid a wreath on behalf of their school.
