The King's School provides parents with information to ensure they stay up to date with their child’s progress at all times. Reports are compiled regularly for all students, and we offer numerous opportunities for parents to meet with staff throughout the year. Students are set aspirational targets at the beginning of Year 7 based on KS2 prior attainment. Assessments and attitude to learning are reported 3 times a year; in winter, spring and summer. The final end-of-year assessment is based on what students have learnt from the start of the year.

Year 7 parents meet with their child’s form tutor to discuss how they’re settling in to secondary school life in the first term.

The King’s School Year 11 presentation evening will take place on 22 November 2018, more details will follow.

Every Tuesday from 6:00-7:00pm parents/carers are welcome to drop in to speak to the Head of School or Deputy Headteacher with any questions or concerns they may have. Please ring Diane Haigh, PA to the Head of School and SLT, or email to arrange a convenient time.

Parent/Carer Forum
